What is Panpacific Language Center?
Panpacific Language Center (PCL) is a newly established office that operates under the Office of International Linkages. It started to function on August 14, 2023, to promote language teaching, learning, and research. Hence, it aims to:
offer language programs to cater to the linguistic needs of both local and international students;
provide micro-credential courses to address existing gaps in language teaching and learning;
host conferences, symposia, and workshops to facilitate the exchange of ideas, research findings, and trends in language teaching and to promote indigenous and international languages;
engage actively in linguistic research, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in international and local languages; and
establish collaborations and partnerships with other learning institutions and industries to enhance language teaching learning and research.

Should students choose to extend their classes, they may avail of the class extension package with the following class structure and class rates:
Class Structures:
Group Class: 3-5:1 student-teacher ratio
Partner Learning: 2:1 student-teacher ratio
Individualized Instruction: 1:1 student-teacher ratio
Class Rates:
6$/hour for 1-hour class for Individualized Instruction
4$ each student for a 1-hour class for Partner Learning
3$ each student for a 1-hour class for a Group Class

Panpacific Language Center offers micro-credential courses
To promote language learning and language enhancement training, Panpacific Language Center (PCL) now offers micro-credential courses which are under the School of Knowledge Innovation and Lifelong Learning (SKILL) that was launched last September 9, 2023, at the Events Center. Micro-credentials are short certification courses that allow learners to learn new professional skills very quickly. After the completion of the courses, learners will receive badges and/or certificates that prove their acquired skills. The courses with their schedules are as follows:
